Getting and staying here

Flying in

With two major airports - Tegel (TXL) and Schönefeld (SXF) - Berlin is easily accessible from anywhere in the world. The city is host to low cost carriers like EasyJet and Ryan Air, so getting there will be cheap - especially if you book early.


Getting to Generator hostel

For those staying at Generator Hostel, (Storkower Str. 160, 10407 Berlin)

If you are jetting into Schönefeld Airport, take the S9 from the airport, change at Treptower Park to S42 and get off at Landsberger Allee Station. (about 40mins). Be sure to buy an ABC ticket!!

If you are coming from Tegel Airport, take the TXL bus to Beusselstrasse, then change onto the S41 and get off at Landsberger Allee station. (Journey takes about 30mins.)

If you are coming from Berlin Hauptbahnof (main train station), take tram M5 directly to Landsberger Allee

Tickets for AB are €2.80.


Getting to Pitch from Generator hostel

Take the S42 from  Landsberger Allee station to Westkreuz station, then change onto the S3 or S5 direction Spandau and get off at  Pichelsberg station.

Journey to the pitch takes around 40mn.

Tips: take an AB group ticket for 5 people. It costs 19,90€ =   €3,98/player for both ways

Getting to the afterparty at YAAM from Generator hostel

The afterparty is at YAAM (An der Schillingbrücke 3, 10243 Berlin). The event will kick off at 10pm till 4am, so save some energy for that!

The best way is take the S8 or S41 from Landsberger Allee S Bahn station (below tram station) to Ostkreuz, then change to the S3, S5 or S7 to Ostbahnhof then walk across the street (22 mins, depending on connections). Or jump in a taxi (8 mins).
